After cutting out all the pieces for this book I was at a loss to completely understand the binding. From leftover scraps, I made this small POC to walk through the process. The accordion to the right nest inside a channel fold on the left, then the left cover and title page folds over the stacked accordion. To the rear is a fold out/cover that flips forward and secures to the left cover piece by magnets. To be certain it is an unusual binding, the rear foldout is made from one piece requiring cuts/folds in two directions to accommodate the channel and page folds…therein the uncertainty. This project has to be completed by Thursday!
