About

Jerry Freeman - Kentucky Bluegrass USA

My search is for atmospheric light and gesture in the ordinary captured by interpretive snapshots made with a simple camera. For me the print is paramount and making handmade photobooks my favored venue for presenting them…a screen image is simply not challenge enough.

Recently my attention has turned toward faces with a specific interest in street photography. My personal definition of Street is "a face in the context of place", where the face[s] are candid and the place is in the public space. Again…for the challenge of creating a memorable image…in a difficult genre.
