After ruthless editing, I process my images and make work prints for technical and aesthetic evaluation. Work prints are not sacred, they are intended to be handled, displayed, amended, or discarded. I may leave a stack of prints setting out on a table for casual viewing, shake them out on a large flat surface, or arrange small prints in context on a magnet board. I prefer viewing prints vertically in a prominent location where I see them everyday…something about growing an artistic voice in a body of work. Can’t do that on a screen.
